Decking and flooring timbers we prefer to use are Australian North Coast and Asian hardwoods that have inherent saps that provide a natural resistance to termites, sun bleaching, water penetration and rot.

We prefer stainless steel nails or screws as fixing methods over treated pine, laminated lumber or hardwood joists.

All new timber requires an oil finish and we provide two coats as a minimum.

New decks can start immediately to deteriorate after being laid and we are able to use special treatments to protect your new deck or revive your old deck. These treatments last many times longer than standard oils.
